Hello, I’m Shannon!

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, I was drawn to art and design from an early age. Much of my childhood was spent drawing, painting, and constantly reimagining the spaces around me. What began as a love for aesthetics evolved into a deep appreciation for the intricate puzzle of design: the delicate balance where functionality, technical precision, and human experience meet. Navigating that balance to create spaces that are both beautiful and purposeful is exactly why I chose this path.

Having completed my Diploma in Interior Design at BCIT, I’ve built a strong foundation in taking complex concepts from initial sketch to final construction documents. The program has sharpened my technical toolkit and expanded my approach to space planning.

This portfolio is a curated look at my journey so far, showcasing a mix of academic and personal projects. It reflects both the technical skills I’ve honed over the last two years and the human-centric design aesthetic I am incredibly passionate about.
